Steps to make Rump Steak Sandwich:
  1. Season the steak with salt, pepper and clove powder. Leave to marinate for a minimum of 30 mins. Ensure the steak is at room temperature.
  2. Oil the steak and fry in a hot skillet. It's better to oil the steak than to add oil to the pan. Fry steak for a total of 4 mins, 2 mins on each side. Leave to rest for at least 5 mins before slicing into strips.
  3. In a small bowl, add the chopped parsley, rosemary and basil to the cream cheese. Mix well, if it is too firm, add a teaspoon of vinegar from the pickled gherkins.
  4. Toast the bread in the same skillet in order to soak up the juices.
  5. To assemble, spread the cream cheese mix generously on the toast. Top with pickled gherkins, sweet onions, sun dried tomatoes and artichoke antipasti. Spread the top slice with cream cheese.
  6. Serve with chips or crisps and coleslaw. Or just indulge as it is with an ice cold drink.
