  2. Add ¼ cup of the water in a glass, drop the beef bouillon cubes into in and microwave for 60 seconds, stir the bouillon cubes until the dissolve in the water.
  3. In a small bowl combine the other ¼ cup water (make this cold water), and the cornstarch, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, black pepper, and brown sugar, whisk until the cornstarch dissolves.
  4. Add the hot beef bouillon water to this mixture and stir.
  5. Now pour this sauce over the beef, peppers and onions in the slow cooker.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours. - - Serve over steamed rice 🍚

Create the pepper sauce: To thicken the sauce, take a ladle of the sauce from the slow cooker and whisk it together with the cornstarch in a small sauce pan. Add the peppers to the slow cooker. Add the tomatoes to the slow cooker. Whisk together the sauce ingredients and cornstarch in a small bowl, then pour the mixture into the slow cooker.
