This makes a wonderful pot roast (don't add anything else - including water), but I wanted something different.

- Trim any excessive fats off roast. Leave some, as it will help create juice to keep roast moist while cooking. Place Roast into Crock Pot.
- Season roast to taste. I use Pepper, Celery Seed, Onion & Garlic Powders. You can use any seasonings you prefer.
- Let roast cook on high 6-8 hours or on low 8-10 hours depending on size.
- Add your Carrots & Potatoes two hours after putting roast in. Let cook with roast until its finished cooking. You can add other vegetables that you prefer. Raw onions, fresh green beans would be good as well.
- Before serving ensure roast is fully cooked.
